The Jasenovac concentration camp, was established by the Ustasha regime in order to detain tens of thousands of Serbs, Roma, Hebrews, Muslims and Croats, while a large number of them was killed. The monument to the victims was revealed on July 4, 1966, and a Memorial Site was founded in 1968.
